Friends from the " 7 Hostel"

It’s a cold, rainy day here in Italy…. Good day to do laundry, sort the suitcase and catch up on the computers. The pictures that I am putting on the above slideshow are of the kids that we have made friends with, including the 6 from our room. This afternoon most of the kids came back to the dorm after spending a morning out in the rain walking around in Positano. Now they are all laying in their bunks either reading or sleeping so they will be ready to party tonight. We now have Tom from Australia, Maureen from Canada, Erin from California, Jenny from Wisconsin, Patrick and Sarah from Pennsylvania…. With us being from Florida and California giving us a real mix in the room. Our room looks like a Chinese Laundry as the hostel automatic dryer are not working well so we have clotheslines spread out all over the room from bunk to bunk. Yesterday the girls did laundry, this morning we did our and now the boys have done theirs so as soon as one group gets their clothes dried someone is busy hanging the next load up to dry. Maybe by tomorrow we will have everything dry and will not have to duck thru the clothes anymore……but it’s such fun having all these young people around us again. Last night Tom joined us for dinner and tonight it was Sarah. Tonight the hostel served “all you could eat” salad and pizza with desert. This was the best pizza I have ever eaten…. But then it should be as pizza is from Naples (just up the road).

Tomorrow is only a 20% chance of rain so Martha said we will be off in the morning for Pompeii … Think another girl that we have met, Wallis from New York is going to go with us for the day… should be a fun day.
