I think that I have packed and repacked all 6 suitcases at least five times. Have made lists of all that is packed, especially the pills and medical information. Have ordered wheelchairs for both of us at the airports…. Hopefully everything will go smooth and all my worrying about lost suitcases will have been for naught.
We are both so excited about this trip. On March 27th we celebrated our 30th Anniversary with a brunch that included friends from our home town of Columbus Indiana. Tomorrow at morning coffee hour we will stand, and with others who are celebrating this week, have our picture taken for the website and have a Happy Anniversary song from the whole room while we enjoy coffee and donuts.
We have had a very busy week; last Saturday was Fun Day here at our Park.
Phil spent more than several weeks designing and building a Tank Float to go over our golf cart. The parade theme was Patriotic and he took first place with his tank. Lots of games, free food and other entertainment made for a fun filled day.
Tuesday, our Anniversary, was with friends from Columbus; Wednesday, was our parks
Entertainment Night, a once a year show for all to enjoy. Phil was part of the chorus and I did a small skit with 2 other ladies. Thursday, we went to see “Ring of Fire” at our local
Manatee Players Theatre. Tonight, Friday we have our last “Carport” evening pot luck dinner with friends here at the park. Then hopefully we will get a good night’s sleep before leaving for the airport, after coffee hour. As I said, it’s been a busy week.
We are looking forward to our three nights in Sydney…
next post should be from the “Land Down Under”

Good to see you did a post before leaving. So glad that the wheelchair thing worked so well at the airports. We need to enjoy the perks of getting older!
God speed and grant you a safe and uneventful journey to Sydney. Can't wait to hear from you. Hugs
