Yes, because we have both been sick, we have totally changed our plans for the trip north. Instead of driving our car and visiting everyone, including those in Wisconsin, for a month, we will leave on Wednesday the 16th and fly to Indianapolis. Plans are to visit and dine with the Bender family on Wednesday evening. Then spend the night with Gary & Alitza in Columbus. Breakfast with Joseph and Shirley on Thursday morning before we drive down to Kentucky. Alexandra's Graduation is on Friday and then Sunday we will drive back to Indianapolis to visit with Todd & Joyce before flying back to Florida.
Daughter Marybeth & hubby Steve, along with dog Max, will also be at Judy's for graduation.
We have both spent this first week at home trying to get over the bug we picked up on the ship. In retrospect, I wish that we had flown home from the Hawaiian Islands rather than going on to Vancouver.
We did meet alot of new nice people on our last 12 day cruise but would have been nice to have had the opportunity to make it only a 7 day cruise around the islands.
Phil, I think because we started him on anti biotic right away is getting better day by day. Me, I have been to the doctors office twice....first time for anti biotic and a cough suppressant then 4 days later she gave me a shot of B12 and a shot of a steriod for my lungs. Today I am beginning to feel better and not coughing nearly so much.
Yesterday I scanned all of purchased photo's into the computer and today I am learning how to use the new blog site .... so guess I am doing better. This will be the last blog for now on The Traveling Twins
blogspot as in reality I don't think I should bore you with all those photos....a few of the video's might be fun to post on Facebook.
