Today is the day September 9, 2013

( will have to post this when I arrive in Paris unless I find internet in London As JFK in New York has no free Internet that I can find.)  Woke up 3:30 after sleeping for about 5 hrs. Very quietly I had my breakfast of oatmeal. And then went outside and walked for about 30 minutes. Got on the computer and sent emails etc to Paris...talked with Martha. They are in the new apartment and love it. Told Martha that after reading her blog from yesterday that I sure would like to repeat her day.... It's several of the places that I want to see. Soon Phil and Joe were both awake and decided to go ahead and eat breakfast at home before going to the airport.

Arrived at the TPA and found that their were no lines so I breezed thru and was at my gate by 9AM. The plane was a small Eagle and they were Only allowing 1 item per person but, as the only handicap person and I stressed that I had medicine in both bags I got them both on with me. Helped that my little tote bag fit right under the seat. Lots of people with colds so I pulled out my face mask and took some airborne. For lunch I had a banana and my soy nuts that I had brought from home plus orange juice on the plane.

Am now sitting at the gate in New York ....disappointed about the lack of Internet. But decided to type this and do some reading to pass the time. Oh yes I was so excited about getting my boarding pass for London that I didn't notice that as a handicap person they have moved me into first class for the ride over to Paris....at least that what my boarding pass says. I called Phil to let him know where I am ...also will call Joe and have him let Martha know that I have no Internet here. Found a protein bar in my bag...figure that and the rest of my soy nuts will do for dinner.. Do have 1 meal coming on the plane as we cross the over the pond.

What I am wearing.....as Bonnie said not to bring the lightweight pants for her, (only the long heavier pants)',I went into the closet and brought out 2 things that I had thought of bringing but no room. Guess what I am wearing 3 pair of pants and 3 shirts plus my hoodie jacket and my Columbian jacket... They all layer together and I have been very comfortable with only removing the outer jacket when on the plane. The 3rd shirt I added is the black turtleneck that I had bought in Wisconsin just to bring with me ....and it did make it. What is crazy is using the restroom...lots of layers to pull down. My choice of extra pants are the ones I used for insulation on our last trip.... With the change in weather think I will be happy to have these extra clothes. Okay think I will close this and post it in Paris.
