My 70th Birthday Picture

This picture was taken at our Leisure Lake Coffee Hour this Saturday. Everyone who has a birthday during these two weeks, mine is December 22nd, got to have their picture taken for the website and of course a Happy Birthday song.

Martha and I are so busy trying to get everything done up for Christmas and do the final planning for our trip in February. She has been much busier than I as they had a big party along with the boat parade. She has pictures of the boats on her blog.... marthajans.blogspot.com be sure to check them out. I did a trial run to see if I would be able to copy and paste her journals into my blog... as you can see it worked just fine. Not sure however if I would be able to also copy her pictures. We have also been making good use of Skype. We both have webcams so we can actually show each other things that we are buying to use on our trip. Today our brother Joseph got himself a webcam and downloaded skype on his computer... now we can also talk and see him on the computer. How did we ever get along without the computer??? Know that I need to practice blogging more so that I am use to doing it by the time our trip it here. This is it for now.
