Thursday - My last morning of quiet time alone in Paris

The others have all gone out to revisit areas we saw the past couple of days without Jane. Me, I love my alone time...sitting here ready my book, bonjour 40, I stop and look out the window to the apartment across the street ..the balcony is full of plants the windows all wide open, no screens to mar the view ...knowing that within a few hours we will be on the train bound for Italy ...yes! I am looking forward to Tuscany but I am going to miss Paris, a lot more than I thought I would 3 weeks ago. Martha has been a great tour guide and I have seen so many great things but I have really enjoyed my times alone in this wonderful city. Someday I would love to come back and just "live"walking the streets, wandering the markets, riding the bus and metro which, thanks to Martha! I now know how to do. This silly I pad keeps changing words that I have typed and then I have trouble trying to change them back. The girls just called and will be here after they finish lunch.. Then we will wait for the landlord to come and check us out of the apartment before we leave. Was glad to hear from Jane that Phil made it to Indianapolis okay. Well, have tried several times to change, ready to reading my book... Just gonna let it stay.post this and go back to reading my book. Will not post again till in Italy.
